45 Minute Deep Tissue Massage
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE THERAPY
Service Description
Peak Movement provides professional deep tissue massage therapy delivered by therapists trained in clinical assessment and evidence-based recovery techniques. Our deep tissue specialists understand chronic pain, movement restrictions, and postural dysfunction, approaching each client with a clinical methodology rather than a purely relaxation-focused approach. Every deep tissue massage client receives a comprehensive initial assessment focused on identifying the root cause of your tension, pain, or movement limitation before treatment begins. During this appointment, your therapist performs a detailed postural and movement assessment that examines your symptom history, physical demands, and movement patterns. This provides the clinical data needed to establish an accurate understanding of your dysfunction and create a treatment plan specific to your unique requirements instead of a generic protocol. Your initial deep tissue session is a comprehensive appointment. Your therapist performs a thorough assessment of your posture, movement quality, and muscle tension patterns. This examination reveals which muscles are holding tension, why they've become tight, and what's driving your pain or limitation. By identifying the root cause rather than treating symptoms, we ensure your treatment addresses what's actually wrong. By the end of your initial session, you will have a clear understanding of the factors causing your problem, a personalized treatment plan, and a realistic timeline for your recovery. Where appropriate, treatment begins in the same session using evidence-based modalities such as soft tissue release, myofascial techniques, and targeted pressure therapy. This ensures you leave our facility with a tangible start to your recovery in addition to a professional assessment and understanding of your condition. Following every appointment, you receive personalized guidance on self-care and stretching protocols to support your recovery between visits, ensuring your progress remains structured and continuous. Many clients report significant improvement in movement and pain relief after a single session, with lasting benefits when combined with the recommended follow-up protocol.
