Focused Spinal Adjustment
NECK & BACK SPINAL ADJUSTMENTS
Service Description
Every spinal adjustment session at Peak Movement begins with a thorough clinical assessment to identify the root cause of your pain, stiffness, or movement restriction. This ensures that each adjustment is performed with precision, purpose, and a clear understanding of your spinal mechanics — not as a generalised intervention, but as a targeted clinical procedure.Using controlled, high-velocity low-amplitude (HVLA) manipulation techniques, your clinician applies precise force to specific spinal joints to restore alignment, reduce nerve irritation, improve joint mobility, and relieve the muscular tension that develops around dysfunctional spinal segments. The result is an immediate and measurable improvement in range of motion, pain levels, and functional movement quality for the majority of patients.Spinal adjustment is particularly effective for chronic lower back pain, neck stiffness, thoracic dysfunction, posture-related pain, nerve-referred symptoms, and movement restrictions that limit daily function or sport performance. It is most effective when integrated into a broader treatment plan that addresses the muscular, postural, and movement factors contributing to spinal dysfunction — an approach central to how we work at Peak Movement.Following your session you will receive guidance on post-treatment expectations and, where indicated, a personalised rehabilitation protocol to support spinal stability and prevent recurrence between appointments.
Cancellation Policy
At Peak Movement, we’re committed to delivering the highest standard of physiotherapy through professional, personalised care. To ensure smooth operations and mutual respect between clients and practitioners, please take note of our physiotherapy booking policy. 1. Booking & Confirmation All physiotherapy sessions must be booked in advance via the Peak Movement app, website, or front desk. Bookings are confirmed once payment is made or a valid package/membership is active. New clients must complete an initial assessment before starting treatment plans. 2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Please provide at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations (less than 12 hours) will result in the full session fee being charged or the session forfeited from your package. In case of emergencies, contact us directly. 3. Late Arrivals Sessions start and end at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will not extend session time. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may be considered a missed session and charged in full. 4. No-Show Policy Missing a scheduled session without notice will be considered a no-show and is non-refundable. 5. Medical Aid & Invoicing Sessions are payable upfront. We provide formal invoices for medical aid claims, but reimbursement depends on your provider and plan. Peak Movement is not responsible for claim outcomes. 6. Session Validity All purchased sessions or treatment packages have a validity period (typically 3–6 months depending on the package). Expired sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable. 7. Health & Responsibility Please inform your physiotherapist of any injuries, illnesses, or medical changes before each session. It’s your responsibility to ensure you’re medically cleared for physiotherapy. 8. Communication Ongoing communication is key to effective recovery. Please keep your physiotherapist updated between sessions for optimal care.
