PREGNANCY PAIN & PELVIC FLOOR CARE

45 min
780 South African rand
Strand Street

Service Description

Pregnancy changes your body faster than almost any other season of life, and the aches that come with it are common but not something you have to push through in silence. This women's health physiotherapy session is run by Tasneem Kader, our women's health physiotherapist, and is built around you and what your body is asking for right now. In this session Tasneem will tackle the pelvic girdle pain, lower back pain and sciatica that so often arrive in pregnancy, assess and train your pelvic floor in preparation for birth, and address the rib pain, wrist pain and postural strain that build as your bump grows. She looks at how your abdominal wall is coping and how to keep moving safely through each trimester, and goes through the everyday things that quietly feed your pain, from how you sleep and lift to how you get in and out of the car. You leave with a prenatal home exercise programme you can actually keep up with. Whether you are 8 weeks or 38 weeks, first pregnancy or fourth, you deserve care that takes your symptoms seriously. Pregnancy rehab works best when it starts early, so you spend less of your pregnancy in pain and arrive at birth feeling prepared. Prenatal physiotherapy with Tasneem Kader at 94 Strand Street, Cape Town CBD.
