Physiotherapy Follow Up Appointment
PHYSIOTHERAPY
Service Description
Your follow-up physiotherapy consultation at Peak Movement is a structured, progress-driven session built on the foundation of your initial assessment. Each appointment begins with a clinical reassessment of your pain levels, mobility, and functional changes — allowing your physiotherapist to objectively measure how your body is responding to treatment and adjust your plan accordingly. No two follow-up sessions are the same. As your condition evolves, so does your treatment. We continuously refine your programme to target what your body needs at each stage of recovery — whether that is reducing residual pain, improving movement quality, rebuilding strength, or preparing you for return to sport or full daily function.Treatment may include any combination of dry needling, soft-tissue release, joint mobilisation, spinal manipulation, shockwave therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, and laser therapy — all selected based on your current clinical presentation rather than a fixed protocol. As with every session at Peak Movement, you will receive an updated personalised online rehabilitation protocol following your appointment, ensuring your recovery remains structured and progressive between visits.

Cancellation Policy
To ensure smooth operations and mutual respect between clients and practitioners, please take note of our physiotherapy booking policy. 1. Booking & Confirmation All physiotherapy sessions must be booked in advance via the Peak Movement app, website, or front desk. Bookings are confirmed once payment is made or a valid package/membership is active. Initial bookings and select follow-ups are required to be paid for before the session in order to secure the booking, unless otherwise agreed upon with your practitioner. New clients must complete an initial assessment before starting treatment plans. 2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Please provide at least 12 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made between 6 and 12 hours before the session will result in 50% of the session fee being charged, which must be settled before any new booking can be made. Cancellations made within 6 hours of the session, or no-shows, will result in the full session fee being charged or the session forfeited from your package. In case of genuine emergencies, please contact us directly. 3. Late Arrivals Sessions start and end at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will not extend session time. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may be considered a missed session and charged in full. 4. No-Show Policy Missing a scheduled session without notice will be considered a no-show and is non-refundable. 5. Medical Aid & Invoicing Sessions are payable upfront. We provide formal invoices for medical aid claims, but reimbursement depends on your provider and plan. Peak Movement is not responsible for claim outcomes. 6. Session Validity All purchased sessions or treatment packages have a validity period (typically 3–6 months depending on the package). Expired sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable. 7. Health & Responsibility Please inform your physiotherapist of any injuries, illnesses, or medical changes before each session. It's your responsibility to ensure you're medically cleared for physiotherapy. 8. Communication Ongoing communication is key to effective recovery. Please keep your physiotherapist updated between sessions for optimal care. 9. Consent & Communications By signing the consent form, you grant Peak Movement permission to add your details to our system and marketing campaigns for the purpose of future communications, updates, and invitations. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting our front desk.
