Service Description

Peak Movement provides a professional clinical environment staffed by sports orientated, chronic pain, and acute pain physiotherapists. All of our clinicians are trained to perform advanced diagnostic evaluations and implement evidence based recovery strategies tailored to individual patient needs. From the very first session, every client receives a full assessment and immediate treatment alongside a personalized rehabilitation protocol and access to symptom tracking software when necessary. We integrate advanced clinical technology into our care, utilizing high powered laser therapy, dry needling, and shockwave therapy where applicable to accelerate the healing process and ensure optimal outcomes. Your initial physiotherapy consultation is a comprehensive session focused on identifying the root cause of your pain, injury, or movement limitation before any treatment begins. During this appointment, your physiotherapist performs a detailed full body assessment that examines your symptom history, medical background, movement patterns, and daily physical demands. This provides the clinical data needed to establish an accurate diagnosis and create a treatment plan specific to your unique requirements instead of a generic protocol. By the end of your initial session, you will have a clear understanding of the factors causing your problem, a personalized treatment plan, and a realistic timeline for your recovery. Where appropriate, treatment begins in the same session using evidence based modalities such as joint mobilisation, soft tissue therapy, spinal manipulation, and therapeutic ultrasound. This ensures you leave our facility with a tangible start to your recovery in addition to a professional diagnosis. Following every appointment, you receive a personalized online rehabilitation protocol to guide your recovery between visits, ensuring your progress remains structured and continuous from the very first day.

Cancellation Policy

To ensure smooth operations and mutual respect between clients and practitioners, please take note of our physiotherapy booking policy. 1. Booking & Confirmation All physiotherapy sessions must be booked in advance via the Peak Movement app, website, or front desk. Bookings are confirmed once payment is made or a valid package/membership is active. Initial bookings and select follow-ups are required to be paid for before the session in order to secure the booking, unless otherwise agreed upon with your practitioner. New clients must complete an initial assessment before starting treatment plans. 2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Please provide at least 12 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made between 6 and 12 hours before the session will result in 50% of the session fee being charged, which must be settled before any new booking can be made. Cancellations made within 6 hours of the session, or no-shows, will result in the full session fee being charged or the session forfeited from your package. In case of genuine emergencies, please contact us directly. 3. Late Arrivals Sessions start and end at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will not extend session time. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may be considered a missed session and charged in full. 4. No-Show Policy Missing a scheduled session without notice will be considered a no-show and is non-refundable. 5. Medical Aid & Invoicing Sessions are payable upfront. We provide formal invoices for medical aid claims, but reimbursement depends on your provider and plan. Peak Movement is not responsible for claim outcomes. 6. Session Validity All purchased sessions or treatment packages have a validity period (typically 3–6 months depending on the package). Expired sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable. 7. Health & Responsibility Please inform your physiotherapist of any injuries, illnesses, or medical changes before each session. It's your responsibility to ensure you're medically cleared for physiotherapy. 8. Communication Ongoing communication is key to effective recovery. Please keep your physiotherapist updated between sessions for optimal care. 9. Consent & Communications By signing the consent form, you grant Peak Movement permission to add your details to our system and marketing campaigns for the purpose of future communications, updates, and invitations. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting our front desk.
