Biokinetics Initial Consultation
BIOKINETICS
Service Description
Your initial Biokinetics consultation at Peak Movement, the home of Peak Biokinetics in Cape Town, is a detailed, science-driven assessment designed to evaluate how your body moves, functions, and responds to load. Whether you've been searching for a biokineticist near you to recover from injury, address pain, or unlock your performance, this consultation gives your biokineticist the clinical foundation needed to design a rehabilitation or performance programme that is specific to you. Using advanced clinical testing and AI-supported movement analysis, your biokineticist assesses strength, mobility, balance, gait mechanics, and functional capacity. This includes detailed gait analysis and running analysis in Cape Town, identifying the weaknesses, movement compensations, and injury risks that may not yet be causing symptoms but are limiting your potential or predisposing you to future injury. By the end of your initial consultation you will have a clear understanding of your current physical baseline, the factors contributing to your pain, limitation, or performance plateau, and a personalised exercise programme built around your specific goals and clinical needs. This consultation is appropriate for post-surgical rehabilitation, injury recovery, chronic condition management, GP-referred exercise prescription, musculoskeletal pain, gait analysis, running analysis, and performance optimisation. As a leading biokineticist practice in Cape Town, our team at Peak Movement works collaboratively within the broader clinical team, including our physiotherapists and medical doctor, as well as with your referring GP or specialist, ensuring your care is integrated, communicated, and continuous.
