45 Minute Sports Massage
SPORTS MASSAGE THERAPY
Service Description
Peak Movement provides professional sports massage therapy delivered by therapists trained in athletic performance, injury prevention, and evidence-based recovery strategies. Our sports massage specialists understand the demands of training, competition, and athletic recovery, approaching each athlete with clinical expertise focused on performance optimization and injury prevention. Every sports massage client receives a comprehensive initial assessment focused on identifying the specific muscle demands of your sport, recovery barriers, and performance limitations before treatment begins. During this appointment, your therapist performs a detailed movement and performance assessment that examines your training history, sport-specific movement patterns, and injury history. This provides the clinical data needed to establish an accurate understanding of your athletic needs and create a treatment plan specific to your unique sport and training demands instead of a generic protocol. Your initial sports massage session is a comprehensive appointment. Your therapist performs a thorough assessment of your athletic movement patterns, identifies which muscles are taking excessive tension from your training, and determines where you're most vulnerable to injury. This examination reveals how your sport is affecting your body and what needs attention to keep you performing at your best. By the end of your initial session, you will have a clear understanding of your sport-specific muscle demands, a personalized recovery strategy, and a timeline for maintaining peak performance. Where appropriate, treatment begins in the same session using evidence-based modalities such as targeted soft tissue release, myofascial techniques, and sport-specific stretching protocols. This ensures you leave our facility with a tangible start to your recovery and optimization alongside a professional assessment of your athletic needs. Following every appointment, you receive personalized guidance on recovery protocols, between-session strategies, and training modifications to support your athletic performance and injury prevention. We integrate timing into your care, understanding that massage before competition, after intense training, and during recovery phases all serve different purposes in keeping you healthy and performing optimally. Peak Movement also utilizes advanced clinical technology where applicable, including high-powered laser therapy and other modalities, to accelerate
